Use the Life Kit to keep you hydrated with water from your surroundings. But..not so fast! You've gotta filter, boil, or treat that water unless you know it to be clean. We recommend you carry 2 gallons of purified water in your car at all times. If you break down or are in a situation where travel by car isn't possible anymore, fill your 23oz squeezable/flexible Membrane Solutions water bottles with included carabiners and clip them to your pack! Drink as much water as you can comfortably drink and head down the road. If you can carry more water with you, great. Make sure any others with you are hydrated as well. Should you need it, you've got a Membrane Solutions 4-stage water straw filtering down to .1 microns and will filter whatever water you need on your journey! Use the flexible bottle to fill up with dirty water and screw the water straw to the top of the bag and you've got clean water on the go! If you need it, you've got 20 water purification tablets that come with the kit. Included is a 72hr-pack of sea rations (3600 total or 1200cal/day@400cal/bar) - tastes like short-bread!
