Use the Water Mess Kit to keep you hydrated with water from your surroundings. But..not so fast! You've gotta filter, boil, or treat that water unless you know it to be clean. We recommend you carry 2gal of purified water in your car at all times. If you break down or in a situation where travel by car isn't possible anymore, fill your 40oz single-walled stainless steel water bottle completely full. Then fill up the two 23oz squeezable/flexible Membrane Solutions water bottles with included caribeeners and clip them to your pack! Drink as much water as you can comfortably drink and head down the road. If you can carry more water with you, great. Make sure any others with you are hydrated as well. Should you need it, you've got a Membrane Solutions 4-stage water straw filtering down to .1Microns and will filter whatever water you need on your journey! Use the flexible bottles to fill up with dirty water and screw the water straw to the top of the bag and you've got clean water on the go! If you need it, you've got 100 water purifcation tablets (not pictured) that comes with the kit. Need to heat up any food or boil water, you can use the included cook holder to boil water in the single-walled stainless water bottle or in the stainless nesting cup. The cup's got a lid and graduated markings in case you want to heat up any food while on your excusion.
